About Touchstone Energy Cooperatives
As a member of Touchstone Energy, T.I.P. REC is strengthened by a national alliance of local, consumer-owned electric cooperatives, consisting of 750 member co-ops serving more than 30 million members in 46 states.
Touchstone Energy is the national brand for electric cooperatives, and can provide resources from a national network to local cooperatives like T.I.P. REC. They provide programs (such as online energy audits), information (through conferences, publications, and advisory councils), and ongoing employee training and education. One example is the Together We Save campaign, which delivers energy-saving tips via print ads and television commercials to a national audience.
Touchstone Energy cooperatives are local, active members of our communities dedicated to serving all of our members with integrity, accountability, innovation, and commitment to community. Electric cooperatives were established to provide electricity to rural America, and now make up the largest electric utility network in the nations. Touchstone Energy is the national brand identity for that network.
